Texturing
All textures are using base color, except the one for the tires, I took it from CG-Cars.com.

Materials
For the materials, I used Arch & design material of MentalRay, almost all of them.

 

   

How long did the BMW take to finish?
I finished it in a month, because I worked on it after my working hours, at night.

Do you have any tips for cg for us?
In working on a work, we have to do all the best that we can, always open for critics, gain more sources to learn and practice, practice and practice, because these things will get you so many beneficial inputs.

Lighting Process
The lighting process which I used here was photometric lights like area lights, as seen on the image, I added a low intensity skylight. I used studio set-up, with some planes for the reflections, you can see this studio setting on the image.

Rendering Process
I used mental ray render engine, with final gather. This rendering process took like 4 hours, afterwards, I did a simple & uncomplicated post processing with photoshop.
